There were 2 events on the European tour this week. Brandon Stone was mopping up down at Leopard Creek in South Africa, the home player lifting the Alfred Dunhill Cup, meanwhile further south in Australia it was the Australian PGA Championship. Harold Varner III shot a superb final round 65 to win the title by 2.
Everyone was glad to see Tiger playing his first competitive tournament in almost 16 months as he hosted the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. He made the most birdies over the week but also the most bogies for a -4 total. The tournament belonged to Hideki Matsuyama who finished on -18, 2 ahead of Henrik Stenson.
Titleist 917
This week is my first attempt at a new feature, where I will hit and compare the latest and greatest golf clubs from the world's leading manufacturers. This is also a great way for me to find some new clubs, as you may know, I use Nike woods, so perhaps now's the time for a change?
