A very intense week on tour
The China swing on the European tour is over and there was another playoff to decide it. South Africa's Dylan Fritelli looked strong all week and had a handsome lead coming down the stretch. A water ball on 13 and some composed golf from Alexander Levy however halted Fritelli in his tracks. With these two teeing it up in the playoff, the outcome was inevitable - It was the Frenchman Levy who prevailed.
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a great event, it's not often that we see team events on tour, this being a pairs format. Foursomes on day one and three, fourballs on days 2 and 4. There were some strong looking pairings, Ooisthuizen & Grace being one of them; however, it was another playoff to try and separate Jonas Blixt/Cameron Smith & Kevin Kisner/Scott Brown. The two pairs finishing on 27 under for 72 holes. The playoff was won by Blixt & Cameron which comes with the added prize of a 2 year PGA tour exemption.

Upcoming clinics
The next shortgame clinic and playing lesson will take place on Tuesday 9th of May. Places are limited to 9 on a first come first served basis. I've had some great feedback from members who attended the last one saying that they can see the difference already, especially in their confidence, which in golf is a key ingredient.
The ladies section have kindly laid on some coaching sessions for our junior members. These will be also be done in clinic form so that we can open them to a larger number each time. There will be 6 sessions with an open invitation to all junior members, the more the merrier. They will be predominantly after school during term time so as to capture more people. The dates will be emailed out shortly so keep an eye out.
