Last week's winners were...
Trotter 11 last Thursday also produced some stunning scores with 8 in the 40’s. Topping the list with 45 was Ewan Mehra, second with 43 was Gary Bates and third with 42 was Thomas Dodds. It was the QE2 Salver on Saturday with 176 players taking to the course. As always the 2s pot was split between the players that made one: Simon Banks and Peter Lees, what a haul. Well done guys. The main event was won with another low score, as Paul O’Neill needed just 69 shots after his handicap to complete his round and take top spot on card playoff from three players in division one with Peter Walsh, Dave Harland and Nick Spencer all carding the same number. Russell Smith was runner up to Paul in division two with a 71, and on the same score in third place was Brian Kearon. Well done to Clare Palmer and her team for a successful mixed invitation on Sunday, again in glorious conditions with the course and the club enjoyed by all.
It was the ladies turn to showcase the course on Tuesday for the ladies invitation. Once again there was nothing but praise for the club and course. The winners were Debbie Bevan & Linda Simpson who scored a whopping 49pts, second were Bernie Jones & Chris Read with 43pts and in third were Clare Palmer & Jill Holmes 42pts.
