Captain and Pro Challenge The Captain and I continued our challenge series on Tuesday afternoon.
Chris Chetwood & Craig Kerr were the opponents and for the first time this season, there was never more than a hole in it.
We looked like going 2up on 14 until Chris pulled out some sorcery to up and down for a 3 from the downslope of the 17th green! Then, Craig, who was more than steady all day, earned his team an honourable half in the match with a superb 3 net 2 on the last green.

Could you help us? Don’t forget you can volunteer to help us collect range balls during this unprecedented time where it’s not easy to match supply with demand. We have four slots a day every day but times are flexible.
Also please remember that the use of drivers and the handling of golf balls is still prohibited and that the range is only operational between 08:00-17:45 each day, and earlier on certain competition days.
Please also remember that your range card will automatically be charged to your shop account at the end of your 12-month period. I have added 14 months to your new period to allow for the time we were forced to close during the lockdown.

It's about to get interesting The Northern Trust begins this week, marking the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs on the PGA Tour. The event, held at TPC Boston, will be followed by the BMW Championship before culminating in Atlanta at The Tour Championship. It’s a hell of a payday for the winner ($15 million), as well as a lot of prestige; joining a list of golf’s modern greats. Justin Thomas has already wrapped-up the $2 million Wyndham Rewards prize for the best regular-season player, with PGA Championship winner Collin Morikawa finishing second. Thomas will be hoping to join Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods as the only players to win the FedEx Cup multiple times (both have won it twice), but it won’t be easy. |
