Trotter 13 You've been following the ebbs and flows of the Trotter series all season now and last Thursday it came to an end. Despite some gallant efforts from the likes of Ally Macdonald, Mark Prosser and Chris Starkie, no one could catch the pacesetter, Allan Mcmaster, who with a score of 199 takes the Trotter series crown! Dave Harland was the final division one winner of the contest with 39 points, second with 38 was Stu Kearon and third with 37 was Christoper Thomas. Craig Kerr had a best of the day 40 in division two, just a couple back with 38 was Colin Cubley and third with the same score was Gary Lewis. The Seniors have their own season performer award, with a score of 111 the early season winner was Chris Starkie, the prize for the best 3 late-season scores went to .......yes, Chris Starkie again, this time with 121.

A new era? Bryson DeChambeau’s U.S. Open victory was dominant, comprehensive and (however you feel about the man) impressive. Having transformed his body by adding extraordinary amounts of muscle, ‘The Mad Scientist’ has developed a completely unorthodox golf swing. In fact, during his winning round on Sunday, commentators compared his driver swing side-by-side with a top baseball player! The big-driving American wasn’t alone in breaking the mould, though. Matthew Wolff, the eventual runner-up, moves his knees more like an Elvis Presley dance move than a PGA Tour winner’s golf swing. Both of these men, alongside world number one Dustin Johnson, go to show that there is definitely no one way to swing a golf club. At the end of the day, it's all about shooting the best score you can, regardless of how you get there. So, no matter what your swing looks like, let us help you make the most of it with some tailored one-to-one coaching. Simply click the button below or call us on 01513427431 to get in touch.
